Abstract: Recently, organoid has provided a revolutionary platform for tumor biology research, drug screening, precision medicine, and regenerative medicine.Compared to traditional two-dimensional cell lines and animal models,patient-derived tumor organoid models more accura-tely simulate the tumor microenvironment and tumor heterogeneity within the human body,retai-ning the pathological characteristics and genetic information of the original tumor tissue. This has made them a focal point for medical researchers and clinicians. However, the industry currently lacks unified operational standards for the construction and identification of tumor organoids,limi-ting the widespread promotion and application of organoid technology in basic research and clinical applications. To address this,Chinese Anti-Cancer Association,in collaboration with experts from related fields, has developed a standardized and reproducible group standard for the cultivation and quality control of gastric cancer organoids derived from primary and metastatic lesions. This consensus aims to provide comprehensive guidance for clinicians and medical researchers, ensuring the relia-bility and reproducibility of organoid research, thereby improving the accuracy and application value of research results. The publication and implementation of this group standard will strongly support the standardization and widespread application of gastric cancer organoid technology, promoting the healthy and regulated development of the industry. As research on gastric cancer organoids continues to advance, this group standard will be regularly updated based on the latest research findings, continually promoting the development and application of organoid technology in gastric cancer research and clinical practice.
